Confused...

Has anyone ever sat down to blog, write a letter, or email, and nothing came together right? I just had this happen...it is still happening. I was trying to post about my dog having puppies and I couldn't figure out how to organize my writing. I am not very good at my english skills anyway, but today is terrible. I finally had to stop and delete everything. Maybe I am tired or maybe overwhelmed. I don't know, but I guess I will try again later! HMMM....wierd...I think I need spell check!

I'll Keep This One for a Rainy Day!

I am pretty sure that most parents keep a "special" picture of each of their kids for important occasions! Immediatly after I took this picture I knew that one day he would hate me for it! I personally think that it is cute, but I know that at some point in his life he will be begging me not to show his friends!

Our Dang Dog!

We got Rue from Billy and Michelle two years ago after our dog, Bodie, got ran over by a car. She has been to a few different homes since then because we couldn't keep her at our house. Well we finally convinced our landlord that she could stay with us and we have had her for a few months now. This has been great because Gavin absolutely loves her and she loves him. It was a very sad day when she ran away two months ago, but luckily we found her a few days later. It was a very, very sad day a couple weeks ago when we realized that she is PREGNANT! I have been fighting with Josh to get her spayed since we got her back, but he wanted to breed her (Not something I am interested in). Well, she was bred and now we have mutts on the way! Luckily we do know which two dogs she bred with (assuming there were only two), and they aren't that ugly. Ugh! Now I am really stressed because I know what it is like to have babies and it is not fun...can you imagine having several at a time?! Oh well, I am sure she will be fine...I just have one question...will she always have saggy boobs? Cuz that is not cute!!

What's Going On??

When people ask me what I have been up to or whats going on, I usually reply "oh, nothin". Well, that is really how I feel...nothing is ever going on. I started thinking today that something has to be exciting about my life.....hmmmm.....Well, here is what I came up with.

1. I stay home most days with my two kids. This may not seem very exciting, but I have a very entertaining two year old. He never ceases to amaze me with the things he comes up with. I always find myself calling josh or my parents telling them something cute that Gavin just did.
2. I go to my Grandmas every Tuesday for "Club" Day. I would like to call it club Chaos because it consists of myself, my mom, two cousins, my aunt, and my grandma....oh yeah and 8 kids all under three! We always make really terrific plans of accomplishing something, such as canning or baking, but we usually spend our time chasing kids and breaking up fights. YES! This is exciting!
3. On the weekends when I would prefer to just sit around and relax, my husband always has "exciting" things planned for us! He either has us going with him to do a pump job, cleaning up outside, or going to Duncan to ride our horses. I feel like we are always busy doing something or helping someone do something. I guess this is a good thing...its better than sitting around.
4. We spend a lot of time with our family. We enjoy spending time with Shelly's family and my parents, so we find ourselves over there quite a bit for dinner or just to visit. We also have been spending quite a bit of time in Duncan with Josh's family. Gavin loves his Shandoo (Shandei), so we spend as much time as we can with Tara and Alec.

I guess you could say that is not "nothin". I am glad I took the time to think about this because I have become more grateful for my life! Sometimes I think my life sucks, but it really doesn't I just get bored of it. I am going to make my self a goal to switch it up a bit, so I have something to talk about!!

I took the kids to the park the other day and I decided it would be a good time to practice with my new camera! I am still getting used to all of the features, but I can do some basic stuff. Shandei is not very good to smile for the camera. If you tell her to smile it is very scary, so it is better to just catch her off guard!

I am so happy that I have such beautiful neices! Sometimes I wish I had a girl, but then I see my neices attitudes and then I am thankful for my precious boys!!! I love to take pictures of them, so here they are!

Getting into the Swing of Things!

Well it has been a crazy year that is for sure! We have experienced many trials, but we have reeped numerous blessings! I am certain that we have plenty of wonderful things in store for us this next year. I recently got a new camera after losing my old one, so hopefully I will be able to keep up to date on my posts!
